San Francisco Giants Spring Training: A Budget-Friendly Bachelorette Bash in Scottsdale

Are you searching for an ideal spring getaway that won’t break the bank? Look no further! I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a friend’s bachelorette party in sunny Scottsdale, and it was nothing short of amazing. Here’s a rundown of our unforgettable weekend!

Accommodation: We stayed in a spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath Airbnb (link) with a pool, hot tub, and an indoor Ping Pong table. Located just a 15-minute drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, it was the perfect base for our activities. A word of advice: skip the extra fee for pool heating as we encountered some service issues and the pool wasn’t heated as requested.

Day 1: Arrival and Unwinding

Upon landing, we regrouped at Sip Coffee and Beer House, a trendy spot where I savored an espresso martini. For dinner, we opted for Torchy’s Tacos delivered right to our Airbnb. A quick trip to Walmart allowed us to stock up on snacks for the weekend, supplemented by a convenient Costco delivery for the rest.

Day 2: Fun Under the Sun

Our day kicked off with a lively pool party at the Airbnb. While some opted to work remotely, the rest of us soaked up the Arizona sun. Lunch was a casual affair with pizza from Domino’s. For dinner, we ventured out to Sol Mexican Cantina. While the ambiance was vibrant, most of the food in Scottsdale was somewhat underwhelming. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the evening out. Afterwards, we explored the nightlife in Scottsdale, gravitating towards a relaxed sports bar with 90s music videos playing—a real nostalgic treat. Thanks to a promoter, we drank for free at one of the bars, adding to the fun without adding to the cost.

Day 3: Game Day and Movie Night

After brunch at The Canal Club at The Scott Resort & Spa, we strolled over to Scottsdale Stadium to cheer on the San Francisco Giants against the San Jose Padres. Post-game, we grabbed sandwiches and fresh juice from Salad and Go, which we enjoyed back at the Airbnb while watching the film “She’s the Man” and the latest season of “Love is Blind” on Netflix.

Day 4: Farewell Scottsdale

Departure day was relaxed; we packed and cleaned up at our own pace. Check-out was late morning, and then it was back to San Francisco.

Budget Breakdown per Person:

  • Accommodation, Costco, & Baseball Tickets: $406
  • Round-trip Flight: $200
  • Ubers: $60
  • Meals and Entertainment: $120

Total: Approximately $1,000 each.

This sports-themed bachelorette party was the perfect blend of relaxation, fun, and friendship—all wrapped up in a budget-friendly package.
